Piazza Duomo turns 20 and celebrates with a new, intimate space dedicated to conviviality

09 September 2025

Cooking is an act of both heart and intellect – but it also demands discipline, study, and constant research. The kitchen is a forge, where its inhabitants – the chefs – never run out of creative energy.

Each day, they challenge assumptions and experiment with diverse ingredients in an ongoing pursuit of the new.

In his new space, much like an artist in his studio, Enrico Crippa welcomes just eight guests at a time, offering a personalised tasting menu shaped by the freshness and seasonality of the day’s ingredients.

Studio+ isn’t a privé – it’s a new kind of space, where Enrico Crippa cooks for his guests as if welcoming them into his home.

After passing through the historic rooms of the restaurant, guests enter a small lounge – an inviting place to sit and begin imagining the lunch to come. From there, they’re led to the heart of the experience: a single table for eight, where every dish is assembled before their eyes, and Crippa’s cuisine is served in its most personal form.

The wine cellar plays an essential role in the experience. A vast and thoughtful selection of Italian, local, and international labels awaits – with more than a few surprises to discover along the way.

Introducing Sorsi

During the most anticipated culinary week of 2025 – when Turin hosted The World’s 50 Best Restaurants – Piazza Duomo unveiled its newest project: Sorsi

A groundbreaking concept in food and wine pairing, Sorsi offers a curated selection of themed wine tastings, designed to accompany the Piazza Duomo menu either in sequence or freely, at the guest’s pace. Like a soundtrack to Enrico Crippa’s cuisine, each glass becomes a narrative – telling the story of the land and the hands that work it.

The project was conceived by our Wine Director, Jacopo Dosio, together with his team of wine storytellers – Davide Impagnatiello, Alex Roppo, Filippo Rodda, and Carlo Salino – who describe it this way: “Sorsi are our travel postcards – each one tells the story of the wine producers and the land that inspired them.”

The lineup will evolve over time, continually refreshed with new selections to surprise and inspire.
