In Piedmontese dialect, piola refers to the village osteria, the place where traditional dishes and generous glasses of local wines are served.
The lively atmosphere, almost a friendly one, becomes the perfect complement to the food on the table and the wine in the glasses. For this reason, when the Ceretto family chose to open a restaurant offering typical Langa cuisine in 2005, the choice fell naturally on this name.
At La Piola, the menu is written with chalk on the large blackboard in the main room every day: it is made according to market availability and the seasonality of the ingredients, and therefore it changes very often.
