Tenuta Carretta is a beautiful winery located in Piobesi d’Alba, surrounded by a stunning single-parcel of 80 hectares in the Roero DOCG area.

Founded in 1467, the winery has one of the richest and longest histories of the entire area. Today, Tenuta Carretta is a true “constellation of elegance”, a whole that includes two excellent restaurants: Flavio Costa’s 21.9 restaurant (one Michelin star) at the winery and Locanda in Cannubi (on the Cannubi hill) in the Municipality of Barolo. There is also the elegant 21.9 Boutique Hotel, the Villa Garassino agritourism and wine shop in Treiso.

It is the perfect spot for special events, parties and ceremonies, with a menu of innovative dishes based on tradition and prepared with elegance. Fundamental attention and care are given to selecting only the highest quality ingredients, such as the famous white truffles of Alba, when in season.

At the wine shop visitors may taste and buy Tenuta Carretta labels, including their flagship white Roero Arneis DOCG Cayega and the great reds of the Langhe, like Barolo DOCG Riserva Cannubi and the Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Cascina Bordino.
